I look around in my world today and see millions of young people looking for something with which to connect. I have so many friends that do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; some do not even know what it means to have one.
I want to find a way to connect with all of the young adults around me who are searching for God. I want to be in this world, but not of it. I want to be holy and separated, but at the same time completely articulated with my peers. I want to show them how to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ and then help them become Christ-centered men and women.
Life Outside the Lines is a blog about my thoughts on Christianity, evangelism, and connections. I hope you enjoy what is here and will help me be a light in this fallen world.

I am just a simple guy from Nashville, TN that has been blessed with a love for the written word. It never ceases to amaze me how God can use a simple piece of literature to touch a life.
When I’m not tapping away at my keyboard I love to go for a ride on my shiny (ok, ok, it’s dirty, I admit it) motorcycle. God has created a beautiful world for our enjoyment and I, for one, plan to enjoy it!
My life has been blessed beyond measure. I love my family and friends. God has directed me to a church that lives out His commandments to love Him and our neighbors.

Hey Eric,
I like your website. It really is amazing how God works in our lives. And what an amazing gift, to be given eternal life and unconditional forgiveness by merely believing that Jesus died for our sins. It is such an easy concept to grasp now, but for years I struggled to believe in something…anything, but thought it must be this huge and complicated process, when its anything but. I love knowing where my soul stands and having the strength of Christ in my life. It was a hard leap to jump from the pseudo sense of worldly security. But having the power of Christ in my life is a truly blessed gift that nothing on this world can come close to.
